Mint

I was told about a website a year or so ago, that I unfortunately, didn't go to until this last August. It is a free website that helps you create and keep track of a budget. It also lets you see all your assets and debt and investments all in one place. I love it. It is mint.com. It is very similar to Quicken, but it is FREE. They also give you suggestions on how you can save money (basically through credit cards that have rewards) and get better interest rates on savings accounts. I highly recommend it. It is a little confusing at first, but once you get what it looks like and how it works, it really helps. They email you when you have gone over budget and other notifications like that. I am really starting to like a lot. I did have my complaints at first, but I am getting the hang of it and I feel like I have a good handle on where our money is and where it is going. It feels good. I highly recommend it if you are like me and feel like a ditz when it comes to budgeting.

I love mint. I have been using it for years now and it has helped a ton to keep track of stuff. Quicken accentually just bought mint because mint was killing them in the online market. Great site for people to know about!

Thanks. I think I did read something about Quicken buying them or something like that. I hope it stays free for forever.
