Reader be warned, you might cry

Last weekend, I got together with some friends from my college days. We ate at PF Changs and it was so delicious. It did live up to it's reputation, especially the lettuce wraps. (In case any of you have been to the Mandarin in Bountiful, their lettuce wraps are just as good so make sure get order them at either one. To die for!) After dinner, Andrea and I went over to Temple Square to see a friend of hers in a concert. We had some time to kill before it started so we went to the South Visitor's Center. They have a miniature replica of the Salt Lake Temple in there. Did you know there is an assembly hall on the top floor? I had no idea? So cool. We also went to the Church Museum. Upstairs they had some of the most beautiful paintings. I couldn't help myself and took some pictures of them. That might be illegal, but they were just too beautiful to not bring home with me. Here they are:

Make sure you click on each one so you can see them in a bigger view, especially this next one.

This is the one that made me cry. I looked at and saw Christ holding that little child and I just about started sobbing. And the angels with the children. Just beautiful and touching. I really want this painting for my home for my children to see each day. I hope you enjoyed these and that hopefully you will go see them in person. There were lots of other beautiful paintings as well and some really cool quilts that made me want to go home and make myself an awesome quilt.

That really is a touching picture. What a great thing to have your children see everyday like you mentioned. A visual reminder of His love for all of His children.
