Well, we finally have a pet. Two actually. Two little fish. One named George, the other Lady. My sister bought us a fish tank last summer, but we haven't set it up because we didn't have a good place to put it. That same sister was getting rid of her old end tables over Christmas and she had one that was perfect for our fish tank. It is a hexagon, which is the same shape as our tank. So we snatched that up as quickly as we could.
On Wednesday, my mom came up to help me rearrange my house a little. We got all furniture rearranged in the living room and put where I want it. Now I just need to put up some pictures. If I can keep the children from messing up the room, I will take pictures to show you all what we did.
With furniture all set, I got the tank all ready and then, last night, we went to the store and got our fish. We got two little gold fish. They are fancy goldfish. Lady is black and has those bulging eyes. George is orange and white. The kids love them. Beckett has been looking at the fish nonstop since we brought them home. He keeps trying to put his Nemo bath toy into the tank. He has also shown them his Thomas through the glass and tried to feed them a Captain Crunch. I have to watch this kid like a hawk. Anabelle likes to watch them too, but she isn't as obsessed as her brother. I'll post pictures when I can. Things are crazy today, but I wanted to share the happy news.

Yay for fish! Maybe you can secure a top to the tank so Beckett stays away with the cereal.
Oh that is awesome! We'll have to meet them sometime soon!

I have to confess, I put the title on purpose. I totally wanted to mess with everyone. I'm glad it worked.
